Indy Film Festival Nomination!
Academy Award® Qualifying Indy Shorts International Film Festival!
It all started when Late Show legend David Letterman was inexplicably compelled to create a colorful phone case for himself using duct tape. When it was finally time to retire the peculiar case, he reached out to Ball State's Glick Center for Glass to help memorialize his craftsmanship.
In May, Letterman and Academy Award winning documentarian Morgan Neville (Won't You Be My Neighbor? 20 Feet From Stardom) visited Ball State for the premiere of "Clear Reception with David Letterman", a film about the resulting glass sculpture. Executive Producer Faith Denig and Director Ameliah Kolp joined Letterman on stage for a panel after the screening.
The documentary is the result of a yearlong project, combining the talents of students and faculty from the Department of Media, the Center for Emerging Media Design & Development, the School of Art and the School of Music.
Today, It’s official our short film was selected for the Academy Award® Qualifying Indy Shorts International Film Festival!
